Have a question about broadcasting video?
Technically - no. You do not need a licence to broadcast any content via the internet, whether audio or video. However, if you're broadcasting copyrighted content, you will need to ensure you register to pay royalites to those who created the content. We can help guide you in the right direction with this.
You can get up & running with only a few pieces of basic equipment, some of which you may already have. All you need is a laptop, an internet connection. Though for broadcasting live video from your home, you might need a few extras such as a webcam & stable/wired internet connection.
Our Live packages only permit you to stream video from your own PC. Our TV Station services allow for both live streaming, as well as uploading videos to our handy online system, with the ability to schedule playlists to run even when your PC is turned off.
